The Survivors is the second book in the Bridges of Time series.  Unlike my work on the New Adventures, all these books are stand alones.  This book was a bit different for me because it lacks a central enemy.  Bradok and his companions must simply survive, pitting themselves against their physical limits and against nature itself.  That meant that I had to really develop the characters and bring the tension out through their relationships.

It was a lot of fun.
